Other Info
Ive Spent almost 10 years building my GTi. I bought it back in November 2005 completely standard other than a cat back exhaust, Headunit and a K&N Pod Filter. Since then i have slowly built it to be relatively quick, to handle well and more importantly, be reliable, safe and to still turn heads without being over the top. I know its not everyones "cup-of-tea", but i like it, i enjoy driving it, and i enjoy working on it. Its kind of sad to see these highly accomplished (Circuit Work, Hill Climbs, Rallying, Autocross) hot-hatches of the1990's disappearing and being ruined by excessively big chrome wheels, Cheap quality fibreglass bodykits and excessively big & heavy stereo systems - Basically takes what made the GTi's so popular and successful away from them.
